By Candle’s Light by Parker Jenkins: Sifrus and Jayde gather to perform a ritual – to exit from their current Plane of existence into the one that they are called to exist in. The will of the Wind calls them forth into the light of the candle, yet the Warden treads just beyond the bounds of their sacred space. But when this folktale begins to falter, the true nature of their gathering emerges. By Candle’s Light is a story about why we hide behind fantasy, when we’re forced to emerge, and how the candle’s light illuminates the dire need to start anew.
By Candle’s Light had its world premiere on May 21, 2026, at Elevate That Studio as part of Studio 324 Productions’ New Beginnings Playfest, directed by Christina Healey. The original cast was as follows:
SIFRUS: Marc Sherman
JADE: Dreia Ong
WARDEN: Christina Healey
